Dear Bill:
The purpose of this letter is to thank you for taking care of an unusual problem that occured recently. We were awakened early one morning by noises on our roof.
It turned out that a roofing crew had arrived at the wrong address, and immediately began removing part of our roof. As you know, your company had installed our new roof approximately one and a half years ago.
Bottom line is that I called you and you soon came and got upon the roof and surveyed the damage. You dealt with the other roofing company and plans were made for your company to repair the damage (at the expense of the other company).
Your crew arrived and made the repairs. We very much appreciate your helping in taking care of this problem.
